Steve was a founder member of ERAF. He actively supported it for five years during which time we raised over £50,000 for local charities, including MacMillan, Steve didn't like the fundraising and marketing aspects of the festival but played an active part in the cellar services team. He was passionate about ensuring that the beer offered to punters was of the highest possible standard. His real love were the beers from Cumbria and, every year, the two of us would hire a van and take two days collecting Steve's choice of beer from his favourite micro-breweries around the Lake District. This always entailed an overnight stop at the caravan in Nether Wasdale, a meal at the Strands and a full fried breakfast prepared by himself. Thanks for all your support - John
